To meet energy demand and provide American households with affordable energy options,  more rooftop solar and storage systems must be installed across the country.

This model state legislation released by the Solar and Storage Industries Institute (SI2), encourages the adoption of automated rooftop solar permitting software. It also establishes baseline standards around residential solar permitting and prevents local governments from unreasonably restricting solar development.
